THE TWO SIDES OF THE COIN

Can someone’s arms become home to you? Imagine being separated from the one who has always been with you, no matter how long or the distance between you, when you finally see each other, you make sure it would not happen again. There’s no forever, any small things can happen and change your life from what you always had known.
better than fEeling lonely
Jean-Marc Bouju photographed the worst moment in a family, showing relief, but fear at the same time. In March 31, 2003 he went to the base camp of the US Army 101st Airborne Division near An Najaf and took this picture. The man is comforting his son after the kid has become terrified when he saw his father hooded and handcuffed. The plastic handcuffs were severed by a US soldier so that the man could comfort his child. The bag on his head, which avoids him, seeing his son, was put by the military to disorient him and protect his identity. Sitting on the ground, spending their last time together, but time runs even if neither wants to be separated. Just staying in his arms, unable to look at his eyes, he must know how much is his son suffering. He keeps his left hand to his head while he may be wishing that he could become better. Leaning onto him, he could be whispering him that even if they can’t stay together, he will always be in his heart, where no one can separate them. The child must know that every word he could be saying to him is probably the last words he would hear from his father.
I’m sure that there was a better ending for them, I know that just imagine the way they are feeling in that moment, their love had become home for each other. Moms need their kids, and kids need their moms. The father misses their children, and the children miss their father. That’s how it is. Nobody has the right to separate the ones who have always been there for them. Even if you don’t want to, knowing you may never see them again, breaks your heart into small pieces. Nothing hits harder than that. So, love and lose is better than feeling lonely.
